Background information about the job or company

We are located in Kiambu County along Thika Super Highway in Ruiru town. Plainsview is one of the biggest nursing home in Kiambu county. We have served the community and beyond since 1999.

The HR Intern will provide vital administrative and operational support to the Human Resource Department. Reporting directly to the Human Resource Business Partner, the intern will assist with day-to-day people operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, attendance tracking, HR reporting, and employee engagement. This role offers practical, hands-on exposure to comprehensive HR processes within a dynamic and busy hospital environment.

Qualifications or requirements

Education: Holds a Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.

Experience Level: Must be a recent graduate in Human Resource Management.

Technical Skills: Good computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and basic data entry.

Core Knowledge: A foundational understanding of HR functions, labor relations, recruitment processes, employee records, and HR administration.

Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment, juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, take initiative, follow instructions, and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn
