A Human Resource (HR) Manager oversees all human capital functions, including talent acquisition, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, and legal compliance, all to align with business strategy.
Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of new staff, creating job descriptions, and developing efficient workflows to attract top talent. Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs, assess training needs, and ensure employees have access to the guidance and information they need to develop professionally. Compensation and Benefits: Manage and administer employee benefit programs, oversee payroll, and conduct annual remuneration and benefit surveys to maintain a competitive pay structure. Employee Relations: Address employee grievances and conflicts, conduct exit interviews, and manage disciplinary processes to foster a positive and productive work environment. Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal system, provide feedback, and implement strategies to drive high performance and employee engagement. Legal Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all labor laws and regulations, stay updated on legal changes, and implement HR policies accordingly.
Strategic & Leadership Skills: Ability to architect strategy and provide leadership to the HR department and the wider organization. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills to build strong relationships with employees, managers, and external stakeholders. Knowledge of HR Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR systems, HR best practices, and current trends in human resources. Analytical & Decision-Making Skills: Demonstrable experience with HR metrics, reporting, and using data to support decision-making. People-Oriented & Results-Driven: A strong focus on people development, employee well-being, and achieving organizational outcomes.
