Job Summary:

Wilmar is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Human Resource Manager to lead and manage the HR function. The successful candidate will develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures, lead recruitment and talent retention initiatives, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations, performance management, and staff development.
  • Oversee training, compensation, benefits, and employee welfare.
  • Ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Promote a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
  • Drive organizational development and change management.
  • Provide strategic HR advice to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management is an added advantage.
  • Current membership with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM-K).
  • At least five (5) years experience in Human Resource Management, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Experience in the agriculture, floriculture, or manufacturing sector will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
