Background

Machakos Technical Institute for the Blind is seeking to fill the position of Human Resource Officer.

Responsibilities

The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for managing various HR functions within the institute.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management Option or Business Administration.
• Practicing member of IHRM.
• Conversant with the HRMA and other related laws of Kenya.
• Computer literate.
• Adequate communication skills.
• Team player.
• Good Advisor and negotiator.
• Adequate leadership and supervisory skills.
• Adequate skills in conflict resolution and behavior management.
• Must have no criminal record or be associated with fraudulent or unethical activities.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years of service in a similar position.

Additional Notes

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for physical interviews. A certificate of clearance for good conduct is required.
