Summit Human Resource & Marketing Consultant is seeking a qualified and experienced Human Resource Officer to join a growing manufacturing company in Juja. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end recruitment, maintain employee records, coordinate payroll inputs, handle employee relations, and ensure compliance with labour laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee induction.
  • Maintain employee records and HR information systems.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, leave administration, attendance, overtime, and statutory deductions.
  • Handle employee relations, disciplinary processes, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and other labour regulations.
  • Coordinate performance management, probation reviews, and contract renewals.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate staff development initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports and support management with HR metrics.
  • Promote employee engagement, workplace safety, and HR best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • CHRP qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Valid IHRM membership is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience handling payroll processes and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
