JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary

The National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK) is seeking an experienced Human Resource Officer to manage HR functions and ensure compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will have strong HRIS experience and knowledge of Kenyan labour regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records
• Maintain and update HRIS systems (MS Dynamics 360 experience is an advantage)
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan employment legislation and organizational HR policies
• Handle confidential employee information with discretion
• Support performance management and employee relations
• Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration

Qualifications and Competencies

• Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (HND/CHRP certification preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR roles
• Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan employment laws and HR best practices
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle confidential matters discreetly
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
