Selecta's production facilities in Kenya are based in Juja, Red Hill and Naivasha. Annually Selecta Kenya produces 350 million unrooted cuttings and 42 million rooted young plants. In total we have around 2500 motivated staff employed.

For our Production site in Juja, we are currently looking for:

HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER – EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

YOUR TASKS

  • Manage employee and industrial relations.
  • Implement and administer the industry Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary processes in line with labour laws.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders in matters industrial relations.
  • Support labour and other compliance activities including but not limited to audits and or inspections.
  • Promote positive employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee relations records and reports.
  • Support other HR functions as and when required from time to time.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Minimum qualification - Bachelor's degree in human resource management or its equivalent
  • Certified Human Resource Professionals certification CHRP.
  • Valid IHRM Certification
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment (Specifically a horticultural industry).
