Role Summary:

Guru Nanak Ramgarhia Sikh Hospital is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee the Hospital's HR function and support the achievement of its strategic objectives. The role involves developing and implementing HR policies, leading recruitment, performance management, staff development, and ensuring compliance with labour laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead recruitment, performance management and staff development.
  • Manage disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Drive employee engagement and high-performance culture.
  • Manage payroll, employee benefits, and HR records.
  • Advise management on HR matters and provide strategic HR support.
  • Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and departmental budgets.
  • Mentor the HR team and ensure efficient delivery of HR services.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Membership of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) with a valid practising licence.
  • Minimum five (5) years' HR experience, with at least three (3) in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws, HR best practices and core hospital management processes.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector will be an added advantage.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
