JOB DETAILS:

Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead all people-related activities for the pre-opening and operation of the hotel. You will be instrumental in recruiting the pre-opening and core team, establishing the HR infrastructure, and fostering a positive and engaging work culture aligned with the Voco brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the recruitment strategy to hire the pre-opening team and all subsequent staff for the 152-room property.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and development programs to ensure a highly motivated workforce.
• Manage employee relations, compensation, benefits, and performance management systems.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HR Manager in the hospitality industry.
• Pre-opening experience is highly desirable, with a strong background in 5-star hotel operations.
• In-depth knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
