ICT Assistant – Kargeno Kisumu Job KEMRI

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Regular hardware and software maintenance and configuration
  • Installation and configuration of software
  • Assist in data backups and data department related assigned tasks
  • Trouble shooting PCs malfunction
  • Offer technical consultation for inputs and recommendations for the study team
  • Liaise with ICT Officer in resolving Internet downtime
  • Offer support and training to new and existing staff on new requirements and compliance with organizational ICT policy and government laws
  • Assist Conducting CMEs to staff on emerging IT issues

Vacancy Requirements:

  • Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or relevant field Mandatory
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Mandatory
  • Must be flexible and willing to undertake other duties Mandatory
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Mandatory
  • Commitment to integrity and high-quality performance Mandatory
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team Mandatory
  • Keen and attentive to detail Mandatory
