Role Overview & Scope

The ICT Officer will maintain hospital IT infrastructure, manage Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS), configure network hardware, and provide technical support to staff.

Key Responsibilities

• System Administration: Maintain the HMIS, user databases, server connectivity, and cloud data backups.
• Technical Support: Troubleshoot computer hardware, software applications, network routers, and peripheral equipment.
• Cybersecurity & Maintenance: Implement firewall protocols, antivirus updates, and system data privacy compliance.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or System Engineering.
• Certifications: CCNA, N+, or MCSA certifications are an added advantage.
• Experience: Experience administering local networks, database systems, and enterprise/hospital management software.
