The United Nations Office in Nairobi is seeking an intern for the Political Affairs department. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in international relations and political analysis within a global organization. The intern will support the Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General on t.
Responsibilities or duties
The intern will be responsible for assisting with research, data collection, and analysis related to political developments in the region. This may include preparing briefing notes, reports, and presentations. The intern will also support the team in organizing meetings and events, and performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Candidates should be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration, or a related field. Strong research, analytical, and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of other UN languages is an asset.
Experience needed
Previous internship experience in a similar field is desirable but not mandatory.
