HealthX Africa, an early-stage healthtech startup building telemedicine and digital pharmacy solutions across Africa, is seeking a hands-on IT Administrator to support and maintain systems powering clinics, patient care, and internal teams.

Location:

Nairobi, Kenya – 00100

Employment Type:

Full-Time | Onsite

Experience Required:

2–4 years in IT support, systems administration, or technical operations

Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or equivalent practical experience

Experience with Windows/Linux, virtualization, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)

Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune

Familiarity with PBX/VoIP systems and cloud-hosted apps

Strong troubleshooting skills across devices, networks, and applications

Good to Have:

Experience supporting digital health, telemedicine, or clinical systems

Certifications like CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or Azure Fundamentals

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1st-line IT support using the helpdesk system

Maintain network stability across clinics, HQ, and remote teams (Wi-Fi, VPNs, failover)

Troubleshoot VoIP/PBX, telehealth platforms, video consult tools, and hardware/software issues

Support new clinic setups, expansions, and virtual clinic deployments

Manage accounts, permissions, and compliance in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune

Enforce cybersecurity best practices (MFA, endpoint protection, identity management)

Maintain access logs, device inventories, and IT documentation

Set up and support clinic devices (laptops, routers, medical devices, digital pharmacy tools)

Resolve EMR, telehealth, and digital pharmacy system issues

Ensure systems remain updated, secure, and compliant

Provide feedback to engineering and assist in testing new features
