JOB SUMMARY:

The IT/Marketing Officer Intern will support daily IT operations & digital marketing at Nairobi Central Hardware Ltd. Responsibilities include maintaining IT systems, providing technical support, handling data entry & Tally updates, & managing phone-related tasks. The intern will also assist with social media marketing, product photography, e-catalogue creation, website updates, & preparing product videos & learning materials. Ideal candidates are tech-savvy, creative, familiar with digital marketing tools, & willing to learn.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing & maintaining the company IT infrastructure, including hardware, software & network

Providing IT support to internal staff, troubleshooting technical issues, & ensuring system stability & security

Keeping up with new technology for efficient processes

Updating data in Tally for generating different reports

All data entry needed by any departments

All phone related issues

Organizing phone contacts

E-MARKETING TASKS

Social media marketing/broadcasting

Taking & editing pics of new items

Prepare an e-catalogue

Assisting with website maintenance & content updates

Assisting in sales & account when needed

Preparing an online product knowledge curriculum for new sales staff

Creating product videos.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree (preferably marketing or IT),

Strong communication skill

Familiarity with digital marketing concepts like social media, SEO, & data analysis.

Knowledge of office software like Microsoft Office &

Conversant with Graphic design tools

Creative & analytical mindset, the ability to work both independently & as part of a team.

familiarity with marketing & social media platforms

A good understanding of digital marketing trends, basic data analysis,

Adaptability & a willingness to learn.

An aptitude for or basic knowledge of IT & data tools is a valuable advantage
