Responsibilities or duties

Analyzing, designing. Coding, testing, implementation computer programs and providing user support; Write Clean, scalable and efficient code using programming languages such as Python, Java or C#.3 repairing and maintaining of information communication technology equipment and associated peripheral; Receiving, installing and certifying of information communication technology equipment and configuring new information communication technology equipment; Maintenance of County Website and digital platforms; Participate in the design and architecture of software systems to meet set ICT standards; Develop and maintaining robust APIS for seamless integration between different software systems; Assist in monitoring the use of hardware and software and ensure that all hardware is licensed and any other lawful duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: -

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines; Computer Science, Information system, Information Communication Technology, business information technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated professional competence
• Good oral and written communication skills
• A member of an industry related professional body
• Knowledge in of Content Management System (CMS) platforms like Wordpress etc
• Proficiency in Web development Languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
• Knowledge of SEOf
• Familiarity with Digital Content Management and Scheduling tools
