Neso is a growing kitchen and interior solutions company based in Nairobi, Kenya. We specialize in modern built-in kitchen appliances and are expanding into residential and commercial interior projects, including kitchens, offices, reception areas, and showrooms.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Interior Design & Project Lead who can design, coordinate, and deliver projects from start to finish.
This hybrid role combines:
- Kitchen design
- Interior design
- Project management
- Costing support
You will take ownership of projects, ensure quality execution, and work closely with clients and the installation team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design functional, modern kitchens and interiors for residential and commercial spaces
- Take site measurements, prepare layouts, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare material estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to support project costing
- Coordinate and lead a small team of installers and carpenters during installation
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet quality standards
- Present designs and guide clients through material and layout options
- Support pricing and quotation preparation (final pricing approved by management)
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in kitchen design, interior design, or fit-out projects
- Strong practical design and space planning skills
- Experience managing small teams or overseeing project execution
- Good communication skills for client presentations and team coordination
- Understanding of cabinetry, materials, and finishes
- Proficient in SketchUp; AutoCAD is a plus
- Practical, solution-oriented, and organized
