Intern, IT Risk
Job Purpose
The Intern will be responsible for the identification, assessment, and treatment of Information Technology (IT) risks. They will also support the execution of IT Risk processes to ensure compliance with set policies, standards, procedures, and risk appetite as a way of protecting the Bank’s ICT assets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Initiative:
- Support in the development of IT risk management reports.
Operational Controls:
- Manage the IT Risk dashboard daily, and timely flag exceptions.
- Perform user access reviews on assigned systems.
- Perform system assessment on assigned systems.
- Maintain the IT Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for this Role n
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Computer related certification(s) will be an added advantage
Competencies required for this Role
- Strong analytical skills to quickly identify technological risks and map out adequate control.
- Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong teamwork skills to maintain good working relationships within and outside Risk department and develop a results-oriented work environment.
- Efficient planning, time management skills, prioritizing and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge in technology related risks.
- Delivering results and meeting stakeholders’ expectations.
- Support in the development of IT risk management reports.
