Background

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented External Audit Intern to join their audit team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity in auditing, financial reporting, and compliance. The successful candidate will support the audit team in planning and executing assignments while learning key audit procedures and standards applied in professional practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in planning and execution of audit assignments under supervision.
• Support in preparation of audit working papers and documentation.
• Participate in vouching, verification, and reconciliation of financial records.
• Assist in preparing audit reports and summaries for review by senior auditors.
• Conduct basic data analysis using Excel or other audit tools.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling client information.
• Perform any other audit-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or final-year student in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least CPA Section 2 or equivalent certification level will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of auditing principles and financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Eagerness to learn, work collaboratively, and uphold integrity and accuracy.
