As we celebrate 20 years of service, we are currently looking for high caliber staff to fill the position of Internal Auditor.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, the Internal Auditor must be self-driven individual who will be responsible for conducting audits of the organization, preparing audit reports and highlighting issues relating to internal controls & risk management.

• Plan and execute risk-based audits aligned to audit objectives
• Analyze business processes, risks, and internal controls
• Monitor key risk areas to identify control gaps early
• Conduct end-to-end audit engagements (planning, fieldwork & reporting)
• Test control effectiveness through audits and staff engagement
• Communicate findings and practical recommendations to management
• Prepare timely, high-quality audit reports and follow up on actions
• Support compliance, SOP reviews, spot checks, and special investigations
• Carry out spot checks on keys areas such as cash count, banks, M-PESA, IOUs, trade debtors, physical stock etc.

• Proficiency with CAATs like Alteryx, TeamMate, PowerBI
• High integrity, independence, and strict ethical professionalism
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Deep understanding of business processes, controls, and operating environments
• Self-driven team player able to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills
• Strong time management with ability to multitask and work under pressure

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or Business Management/Administration from a recognized university – minimum of an Upper Second-class Honors;
• At least 5 years of internal or external audit experience gained from a reputable institution (Mandatory);
• CPA (K) qualification, or the equivalent;
• CISA or CIA qualification is an added advantage.
