INTERN - RESEARCH & ANALYTICS - 1 POSITION

Internship Period: 1 year (non-renewable)

The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) is a statutory agency charged with the responsibility of regulating and developing efficient Capital Markets in Kenya.

Responsibilities or duties:

  • Supporting stakeholder engagement sessions and preparing responses to client enquiries on capital market, financial sector and economic issues;
  • Supporting the preparation and monitoring of budget for the division;
  • Collecting and editing of EAC member states and other relevant capital market statistics;
  • Providing support in the updating of data into designed database systems and providing for confidentiality, integrity and controlled accessibility for future references; and,
  • Supporting preparation and publication of the periodic capital market updates and reports.

Qualifications or requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business , Economics, Finance, Policy, Social Sciences, ICT, Records, Library, Knowledge Management, Legal or relevant degree from a recognized and accredited institution;

Key skills, Knowledge & Competencies:

  • Professional and personal integrity;
  • Communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Report writing skills; and,
  • Attention to detail.
