Are you a detail-oriented, organized and proactive individual looking to gain hands-on experience in inventory management and retail operations?
We’re looking for an Inventory Intern to join our team and support day-to-day inventory activities across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with stock counts, stock reconciliation, and inventory audits.
- Support receiving, recording, and tracking of stock movements.
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Assist in identifying stock discrepancies and reporting variances.
- Support stock transfers between branches and warehouse locations.
- Assist with monitoring stock levels and identifying slow-moving or fast-moving items.
- Prepare inventory reports and assist with data analysis.
- Ensure proper documentation of all inventory transactions.
- Support the Inventory team with general administrative duties.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good analytical and numerical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Previous experience in inventory, stock control or retail is an added advantage.
