Sanlam Allianz Investments Ltd (SAIL) is a leading fund manager in the region with a strong record of accomplishment in service delivery and performance. We are seeking an Investment Intern to join our Investment Team in Kenya. The successful candidate will contribute to investment research, market analysis and reporting, while gaining hands-on experience within the asset management industry. The internship is on a short-term basis.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of daily market updates and weekly cash flow meetings
• Assist with portfolio monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
• Support in preparation of client reports and engaging presentations regularly.
• Support with trading activities, market monitoring, and trade administration.
• Conduct equity, fixed income, and market research to support investment recommendations.
• Provide general support to the team by undertaking ad hoc research, analysis, reporting, and administrative tasks as required.
• Adhere to Company policies including internal and external polices, risk, compliance and regulatory standards.
• Any other responsibilities as documented in your performance objectives and as may be assigned and communicated from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related degree.
• Progress towards CFA, ACCA or CPA.
• At least 0.5-2 years' experience or internship in a similar role in the financial sector.
• Report writing, Presentation and Analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Integrity, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
