Background

We are a Christian school in the education sector, seeking a qualified Junior School teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English and Christian Religious Education (CRE) at the Junior School level.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in English in accordance with the approved curriculum.

2. Develop subject-specific schemes of work, lesson plans, and instructional materials to support effective teaching and learning.

3. Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning styles and academic needs of learners across the three subjects.

4. Collaborate with fellow subject teachers and the curriculum coordinator to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects and assessments.

5. Provide clear explanations of concepts, supported by practical activities and real-life examples, particularly in English and Christian Religious Education (CRE) lessons, to enhance learners' understanding and engagement

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Primary Teacher Education, with relevant subject area specialization.

2. At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience.

3. Valid TSC registration Number.

4. Valid certificate of good conduct.
