Purpose Of The Job
The incumbent will be charged with generating revenues through Sacco Assurance Partnerships targeting individual members and grow their market share.

Duties And Responsibilities
1. Ensure 100% compliance with the insurance regulator i.e. IRA.
2. Give sound insurance advisory and support services to the Sacco.
3. Ensure adherence to service level agreements.
4. Ensure products manuals, process flows, policy and procedure manuals are updated accordingly.
5. Identification of potential markets.
6. Design and monitor claim handling alongside other procedures.
7. Ensure proper, efficient coordination and administration of insurance services.
8. Ensure timely renewal of IRA license.
9. Ensure that insurance product binders are inclusive and competitively priced.
10. Sale and market Sacco Assurance products alongside other Sacco products.
11. Balance the portfolio by selling all insurance products to ensure maximization of insurance commissions.

Purpose Of The Job
The incumbent will be the frontline person for FOSA services to ensure customer satisfaction by processing all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Duties And Responsibilities
1. Receiving and paying out cash to suitably identified members.
2. Responding promptly to customer enquiries and escalating where necessary.
3. Ensure daily reconciliation of cash held versus system reports.
4. Maintain cash holding limit at all times.
5. Provide daily reports and reconciliations.
6. Achieve excellent customer satisfaction by minimizing error rate.
7. Assist in marketing of Sacco products to members.
8. Contribute to the fulfillment of department and company objectives and goals.
9. Comply with all department and Sacco policies, procedures and regulations.
10. Represent the Sacco in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all Members, potential Members and co-workers.
11. Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.
12. Contribute to the fulfillment of department and company objectives and goals.

14. Answer customer enquiries and refer customers to the proper service area for issues that cannot be resolved at the teller line.

Qualifications And Experience
1. Holder of a Degree in Banking/Business Administration or equivalent. CPA qualifications will be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 2 years proven, related working experience in financial services.
3. Experience in a Sacco environment is an added advantage.
4. Excellent customer service skills, attentiveness, information retention, tact and diplomacy in dealing with both Members and employees.


Loans Recovery Manager job at Yetu Sacco Society Limited

Purpose Of The Job
The incumbent will be to oversee the operations of the loan recovery section and ensure policies are adhered to with an aim of improving SACCO’s liquidity and PAR.

Duties And Responsibilities
1. Developing, documenting, implementing and maintaining and recovery strategies.
2. Identifying, assessing and evaluating risk areas in recovery and making appropriate recommendations for improved collections of SACCO’s funds.
3. Identifying key risks that are associated with collaterals, assessing those risks, and establishing the best practices to counter and ensure effective collections.
4. Preparing accurate and timely monthly reports, clearly indicating performance and delinquency levels.
5. Loan default management – Ensure timely collection and recovery of Society’s funds.
6. Refer matters to the Co-operative tribunal process, participation and provision of required documents/information.
7. Management of CRB listing and ensure loans are listed appropriately, information sharing and reference.
8. Debt collection management including effective allocation of accounts for debt collection, reviewing debt collection performance both internal and external and making necessary recommendations.
9. Ensuring the loan recovery officers adhere to the default management policy on recoveries.
10. Timely submission of all loan’s recovery reports.
11. Liaising with debt collectors, auctioneers and lawyers on accounts that have been handed over.
12. Managing escalated customer inquiries and complaints pertaining to loans recoveries.

Qualifications And Experience
1. Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. Professional accounting qualifications; CPA (K)/ACCA/ACA/CFA an added advantage.
2. Minimum Five (5) years’ experience in a similar position with similar responsibilities.
3. Judgment and decision-making ability.
