ICT Officer

We are looking for a qualified ICT Officer that will install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. You will also train users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure in business. You must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems; as well as have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Manage IT initiatives and collaborate with in-house technical staff
  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
  • Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
  • Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
  • Support new technology implementation
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule

Qualifications and experience:

  • BSc degree in computer science, IT or relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience is a must
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • A team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication ability

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ·         Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls
  • ·         Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction

  • ·         Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
  • Welcoming and attending to visitors in the office

Minimum qualifications:

  1. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any field  
  2. At least 2 years proven working experience as a Customer service officer, Office Assistant, Receptionist or related experience
  3. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  4. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  7. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Processing payments to suppliers
  2. Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
  3. Filing of NSSF, NHIF & PAYE for all the employees
  4. Accurate computation of taxes owed and preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements
  5. Bank & Cash reconciliations
  6. Administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes
  7. Create and update expense reports
  8. Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department’s overall policy and procedure manual.
  9. Issue invoices to customers and external partners as required
  10. Prepare Comprehensive Contract & stock reconciliations
  11. Review and file payroll documents
  12. Asset Management
  13. Generating purchase orders

Minimum job qualifications:

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor degree preferably in Accounting, BA or related field
  2. Professional Accounting qualification, CPA- 4 and above
  3. Experience in using Accounting Software such as QuickBooks
  4. At least 2 years of overall professional experience
  5. Very proficient in Microsoft office
  6. A team player
  7. Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  8. Experience in the real estate industry will be an added advantage
