The Office of the Governor through the Selection Panel wishes to consider applications from qualified, results-oriented and self- driven Kenyan Citizens for appointment to the following positions in the County Government of Nyandarua:

County Secretary and Head of Public Service - One (1) post.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Be the Secretary to the County Executive Committee:
• Be Head of the Public Service;
• Be responsible for arranging the business and keeping minutes of the County Executive Committee subject to the directions of the executive committee;
• Convey the decisions of the County Executive Committee to the appropriate persons or authorities; and
• Perform any other functions as directed by the Governor and County Executive Committee.

Requirements for Appointment:
• Be a Kenyan citizen;
• Holds a degree from a university recognized in Kenya:
• Has at least ten years relevant professional experience:
• Has at least five years' experience in a leadership position at senior management level in a public service or private sector organization; and
• Meets leadership and integrity requirements as prescribed in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

Member of the County Public Service Board- One (1) post.
Requirements and Competences
Compliance with Section 58 of the County Governments Act No 17 of 2012

Duties:
As per the County Governments Act No 17 of 2012.
Term: For both positions terms are contractual
Salaries: Are as recommended by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission
