Branch Manager-Kitengela Branch 

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Implement business development strategy to grow liabilities and assets at branch level
  2. Formulate and implement branch business plans, forecasts and budgets and ensure control and reviews.
  3. Support marketing initiatives and give feedback on products performance in the branch markets.
  4. Cross-sell and upsell new business partnerships to increase income streams to the branch and the bank in general
  5. Ensure compliance with both internal and external regulatory requirements.
  6. Review and report any Money Laundering risks associated with business processes and existing customer base.
  7. Develop the branch business strategy in line with the corporate strategy.
  8. Implement the Bank’s business development strategy at branch level including growth in customer base, NFI, liabilities and assets to maximize profitability
  9. Oversee customer service delivery to maximize acquisition and retention.
  10. Monitor and manage Operation and Business Risks to maximize profitability and reduce exposures.
  11. Maintain security of staff and assets at the branch.
  12. Provide leadership, direction and mentorship to the branch team.
  13. Build, develop and maintain a high performance culture.
  14. Identify knowledge gaps and recommend training and mentoring initiatives.
  15. Act as liaison between branch and other departments / units.
  16. Ensure implementation and compliance with policies and procedures

  1. Profitability, customer numbers, disbursement, NFI, PAR, liability growth, cost of funds, cost management
  2. Timely and accurate submission of reports
  3. Staff productivity index
  4. Customer satisfaction index, customer feedback rating, account activity level
  5. Risk and audit rating

Relationship Manager Liabilities

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Implementing the Bank’s deposit mobilization strategy at branch level including growth in customer base and in assets.
  2. Formulating and implementing liabilities plans, forecasts and budgets and ensuring controls and periodic reviews.
  3. Supporting marketing initiatives at the branch level, monitoring and providing regular feedback on products performance.
  4. Grow and manage overall bank corporate and institution banking customer portfolio to maximize business
  5. Continually recommend improvements and adaptations to existing systems, processes, and structures in order to ensure current and future viability of the relationships.
  6. Pro-actively managing and developing effective client relationships while identifying and providing solutions to meet clients’ needs.
  7. Grow Rafiki bank wholesale/HNI portfolio profitability through utilization of available multichannel delivery strategies e.g. technology banking and agency banking.
  8. Prospect for new to HNI clients in conjunction and offer innovative and customized banking solutions.
  9. Maintenance of a healthy business environment by ensuring compliance with both internal and external regulatory requirements.

  4. Institutions/HNI customer’s on boarded.
  5. Number of MOU’s/partnerships closed
  6. No of accounts opened

Key Competencies, Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business related Field
  2. 5-6 Years working experience in banking preferably in relationship/transaction banking.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Leadership and assertive skills
