Role Overview

We are seeking a technically strong Junior Cyber Security Analyst with hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and security analysis across web, API, and network environments.Working is remote or part-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration tests on web apps, APIs, mobile, and network infrastructure
• Perform vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
• Develop and deliver professional pentest reports with remediation guidance
• Support security audits and compliance testing
• Continuously monitor threats and recommend mitigation strategies

Technical Skills Required

• Strong Linux proficiency (Kali Linux, Parrot OS)
• Hands-on with tools: Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nikto
• Web security: OWASP Top 10 (SQLi, XSS, CSRF, SSRF, etc.)
• API security testing (Postman, Burp, Swagger/OpenAPI)
• Network security fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS)
• Scripting: Python/Bash for automation
• Basic cloud security exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus)

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related field
• Minimum 2 years hands-on penetration testing experience
• Certifications (preferred): CEH, eJPT, OSCP (or in progress)
