Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Junior IT Support Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about technology and dedicated to providing outstanding support to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to customers via email, chat, and phone.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web hosting, domain names, email accounts, and other ZuriHost services.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support staff when necessary.
  • Document support interactions and resolutions in our ticketing system.
  • Assist in creating and updating knowledge base articles and FAQs.
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of web hosting concepts (e.g., DNS, cPanel, FTP).
  • Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for helping others.

Experience

Previous experience in IT support or customer service is an advantage but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
