Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Junior IT Support Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about technology and dedicated to providing outstanding support to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to customers via email, chat, and phone.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web hosting, domain names, email accounts, and other ZuriHost services.
- Escalate complex issues to senior support staff when necessary.
- Document support interactions and resolutions in our ticketing system.
- Assist in creating and updating knowledge base articles and FAQs.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of web hosting concepts (e.g., DNS, cPanel, FTP).
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for helping others.
Experience
Previous experience in IT support or customer service is an advantage but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
