Background
The Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA) is a State Corporation established under the Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Act, No. 28 of 2013 under the Ministry of Education.
Qualifications and Experience
For appointment as a Chairperson, a candidate must:
- Hold a Doctorate degree from a university recognized in Kenya.
- Have at least fifteen (15) years’ experience in leadership and management of public or private institutions.
- Have demonstrated knowledge and experience in matters related to Science, Technology and Innovation.
- Be capable of contributing to development of the Science, Technology and Innovation system in Kenya.
- Be a person of high moral character and integrity in accordance with Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: postgraduate degree
