The Excelligent Health Hospital is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) graduate. This role is crucial in providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring compliance with professional, ethical, and institutional standards. The nurse will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, contributing to patient assessment, treatment administration, health education, and monitoring patient progress to deliver safe and effective healthcare services.

Responsibilities

The KRCHN/BSN Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients while ensuring compliance with professional, ethical, and institutional standards. The role involves patient assessment, treatment administration, health education, monitoring patient progress, and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe and effective healthcare services.

Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal candidate must possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in nursing from a recognized and accredited institution. They must be registered and licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK). A minimum of four (4) years of experience in a busy healthcare facility is required. Valid BLS and ACLS certifications are essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective patient and team interaction. Training in PMTCT and Quality Improvement will be an added advantage. Additionally, training in Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care is considered an added advantage.

Competencies & Skills

The role requires strong clinical and patient care skills. The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities are expected. A high level of professionalism and integrity is paramount.
