Role Overview & Scope

The Kitchen Assistant will support the main hospital kitchen team in preparing quality meals for patients and staff while maintaining strict standards of hygiene, care, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation Support: Assist chefs and kitchen staff in washing, chopping, and preparing ingredients for daily hospital meals.
• Hygiene & Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen work surfaces, utensils, cookware, and dining equipment in line with health standards.
• Food Handling & Storage: Support proper food handling, stock rotation, and kitchen waste disposal.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Core Skills: Knowledge of basic kitchen operations, hygiene standards, and food safety practices.
• Gender Preference: Male (as specified by employer).
• Age Requirement: Below 40 years of age.
• Documentation: Relevant academic certificates or food handler/catering training.
