A Laser Skin Therapist needs strong technical skills in laser operation, skin analysis, and various aesthetic treatments, coupled with excellent communication and customer service abilities to assess client needs and provide personalized plans.

Client-focused: Conducting thorough consultations to assess skin conditions and goals Recommending personalized treatment plans and advising on skincare routines Educating clients on procedures, their benefits, and aftercare Building rapport and trust with clients Answering client questions and addressing concerns professionally Treatment and technical: Performing laser hair removal and other laser treatments like scar or pigmentation reduction Administering a variety of other skin treatments, such as chemical peels and facials Operating and maintaining laser equipment according to safety protocols Monitoring clients during and after treatment for any adverse reactions Managing patient records accurately Operational and safety: Maintaining a clean and sterile treatment environment Ensuring adherence to all safety and hygiene protocols Performing administrative tasks like booking appointments

Knowledge of skin types (Fitzpatrick scale) and laser safety protocols. Strong hands-on skills with aesthetic laser systems and skincare technology. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Diploma or Certification in Laser Therapy, Aesthetic Cosmetology, or Beauty Therapy. Valid license or training certification for laser use (per local regulations). Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in an aesthetic or dermatology clinic.
