Summary

Lecturer Counseling Psychology at Kabarak University. Responsible for teaching and assessing students, developing course materials, conducting research, and supporting academic activities. Requires a relevant Master’s or PhD qualification, teaching experience, and strong research and communication skills. The role is based in Nakuru with duties performed on-site.

• Teaching and research in Counselling Psychology and related areas (four courses per semester
• Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects in Counselling Psychology and related disciplines
• Providing results of assignments, tests and examinations for recording
• Participating in academic seminars, workshops, conferences and departmental activities
• Setting and marking assignments, tests and examinations
• Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the University Management

• Excellent presentation, teaching and learning support skills
• Ability to use modern teaching methods and E-Learning tools

• An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Counselling Psychology, Psychology, Guidance and Counselling or a relevant field from an accredited and recognized University
• at least three (3) years teaching experience at University level or experience in research or industry
• Registered with the relevant professional body, where applicable
• A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers
