Background

Kenyatta University, is a multi-campus public university in Kenya. As of October 2014, it was one of twenty three public universities in the country

Qualifications and Experience:

• Successful applicants must have a PhD (Special Needs Education), a Master’s Degree (Special Needs Education), and a Bachelor of Education (Special Needs Education), all in the respective areas of specialization.
• Having a Certificate in Kenyan Sign language and a Certificate in Audiology will be an added advantage for the Hearing Impairment area of specialization.
• For the Visual Impairment area of specialization, applicants must be proficient in Braille.
• At least three years of teaching experience at a university or institution of higher learning
• Should have published at least two (2) articles in a peer-reviewed journal.

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
