Switch Media School is recruiting a dynamic Lecturer in Project Management with a focus on digital media and creative production environments. The successful candidate will equip learners with skills to plan, manage, and deliver media projects while fostering creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation tailored for media production.
- Train learners on workflow management tools (Trello, Asana, MS Project, or similar).
- Guide students in problem-solving and decision-making during project execution.
- Supervise student-led media projects from ideation to completion.
- Introduce learners to risk management, quality assurance, and reporting in media projects.
- Incorporate entrepreneurship, innovation, and AI-based tools in project planning and execution.
- Mentor students on professional presentation, documentation, and portfolio building.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Media Production, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in managing creative or digital media projects.
- Strong knowledge of production workflows, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Prior teaching, training, or mentorship experience is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with AI-driven project management tools (predictive scheduling, workflow automation, analytics).
- Experience with entrepreneurship and innovation in media.
- Ability to integrate theory with hands-on, practical learning.
