Job Description
Duties and responsibilities

  • Assist in provision of guidance to the Board on their duties and responsibilities and on matters of Governance;
  • Assisting to facilitate Board induction and development and implementation of the Capacity building programmes;
  • Assisting in preparation and management of Board Work-Plans;
  • Assisting to facilitate Annual Board Evaluation;
  • Assist in facilitating Governance Audits;
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Board Charters, Terms of Reference and the Code of Conduct and Ethics;
  • Assist in the preparation and circulation of Board and Committee Papers; and
  • Maintain and update the Register of Conflict of Interest.

Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, an officer must: -

  • Bachelor of Law degree from a recognized institution;
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law;
  • Admitted as an Advocate of the High Court;
