Background

The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, a key rhino and chimpanzee sanctuary, and the only place in Kenya to see great apes. It is also home to the Big Five and a thriving community of over 150,000 people. Ol Pejeta is a unique, not-for-profit conservancy that runs commercial enterprises to generate revenue to fund its conservation work.

Responsibilities

The Livestock Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and managing all administrative aspects of the conservancy's livestock operations. This includes maintaining accurate records, coordinating with various departments, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a relevant degree or diploma in Administration, Agriculture, or a related field. Proven experience in livestock management or administration is essential. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Proficiency in relevant software applications is a must.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
