Responsibilities or duties

• Teach the principles of logistics, supply chain management, procurement, transportation, and inventory management.
• Supervise students in the design of supply chain strategies, logistics systems, and warehouse management solutions.
• Conduct research on supply chain resilience, sustainable logistics, and the impact of technology on supply chain operations.
• Train students in supply chain mapping, logistics network design, and distribution planning.
• Develop teaching materials on contract management, supplier development, and reverse logistics.
• Guide students in understanding the strategic role of supply chains in competitive advantage.
• Collaborate with logistics companies and industries on supply chain optimization projects.
• Setting, moderating, invigilating and marking examinations.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

REQUIREMENTS: PARTTIME LECTURER

i. Applicants should hold a PhD or a master's degree qualification in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution; and possess vast teaching or industry experience at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.

ii. Applicants must have served as a Lecturer or equivalent industry experience in a university or institution recognized by the Senate of JOOUST.

iii. Demonstrate potential for university teaching and/or research;

iv. At least two (2) years teaching experience in a university.

v. Master's holders registered for PhD may be considered

vi. Be registered with the relevant professional body as required by the field of specialization.

At least two (2) years teaching experience in a university.
