Role Purpose

Save the Children’s MEARL department, housed within the Programme Development and Quality (PDQ) function, is looking for a dedicated professional to support the delivery of MEARL priorities aligned with the Country Office’s PDQ agenda.

They are seeking a MEARL Coordinator to lead and strengthen Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Research, and Learning across the organization, with a strong emphasis on:

  • Accountability
  • Knowledge Management
  • Learning

This role will also provide MEARL support to the LEGO-funded Teachwell Voices Project, a high-level advocacy initiative pushing for policy and legislative reforms that integrate refugee teachers into Kenya’s national education system.

You will play a central role in generating high-quality evidence and learning to influence policy across three outcome areas:

  • Strengthening policy and legal frameworks
  • Elevating refugee teachers’ participation and voice in decision-making
  • Expanding financing for teacher development, retention, and well-being
  • Lead and strengthen Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Research, and Learning across the organization.
  • Provide MEARL support to the LEGO-funded Teachwell Voices Project.
