Medical and health trainers motivate individuals to adopt healthy behaviors by providing information, support, and referrals to local services

Client Assessment and Goal Setting: Conduct health profiles, identify health goals, and develop personalized action plans with clients. Behavioral Coaching: Support and motivate individuals to change harmful habits and adopt healthier lifestyles, including eating better, exercising, and stress management. Information and Education: Explain the benefits of healthy food and lifestyle choices, and present health information to groups. Referral and Resource Connection: Introduce people to relevant local services, community health projects (like walking or cooking groups), and wider support networks for housing, training, and education. Progress Monitoring: Record client activity levels and results to track progress and use these to motivate them. Community Engagement: Represent health projects in forums and meetings and help plan community health activities. Record Keeping: Maintain records and track progress, as well as ensuring training records and credentials are up to date, especially for medical office trainers.

CDACC Trainer and Assessor registration A pedagogical qualification is an added Minimum of 1 year teaching or relevant professional experience is preferred

Minimum Diploma for teaching up to Level 5,and Bachelor's Degree for Level 6. Registered and licenced by relevant regulatory bodies.
