Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club is seeking an experienced and commercially driven MICE Sales Manager to grow meetings, incentives, conferences, group, and events business.

Job Summary

The role will focus on generating and converting new opportunities, managing client relationships, conducting site inspections, preparing proposals and contracts, and coordinating event requirements across hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and convert MICE and group business.
• Manage room, meeting, and catering enquiries.
• Conduct client presentations and site inspections.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts.
• Coordinate event requirements with Operations, Culinary, Banquets, and Finance.
• Maintain accurate rooming lists, billing instructions, and event documentation.
• Consistently achieve sales and revenue targets.

Requirements

• Degree in Hospitality, Events Management, or a related field.
• Minimum five years experience in MICE events or hotel sales.
• Proven ability to generate business and achieve revenue targets.
• Strong knowledge of banquet operations, event management, and contract negotiation.
• Proficiency in Opera and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, organization, and client-management skills.
