JOB DETAILS:
AfricaPay is seeking an experienced MPGS Deploy Resource for a client assignment in Nairobi, Kenya. The role will support Client Payment Gateway Services (MPGS) clients by accelerating merchant onboarding and providing end-to-end technical and operational support. The objective is to ensure successful integration, activation, and ongoing performance of the Client Gateway.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead MPGS merchant onboarding activities and coordinate with Client teams and client stakeholders.
- Provide deployment support, log requests, track actions, and share regular status updates.
- Manage urgent production technical support issues for onboarding and live merchants.
- Conduct regular review meetings on onboarding projects, incidents, and technical tickets.
- Deliver platform-specific technical training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Support MPGS documentation and coordinate timely support with technical teams.
Ideal Background:
- 10+ Years relevant experience.
- Payment Gateway & Digital Commerce expertise.
- MPGS APIs & Merchant Integration experience.
- Technical Troubleshooting & Problem Solving skills.
- Strong Communication & Stakeholder Management abilities.
Key KPIs:
- Growth in MPGS transaction volumes.
- Increase in acceptance locations.
- Reduction in merchant onboarding turnaround times.
- Improved MPGS-enabled implementation success rates.
