Background

The role will be responsible for the daily maintenance of equipment and production tools in the workshop, the summary of abnormal equipment history, the report of equipment spare parts requisition, and assist the engineer(s) to carry out equipment transformation and equipment efficiency improvement, so as to ensure the high-speed, efficient and stable operation of the company's equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair problems with machinery and equipment in the manufacturing plant
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machinery to prevent breakdowns and downtime
  • Use hand and power tools, as well as computers and software, to examine and fix issues with machinery
  • Keep maintenance records and inventory of spare parts and supplies needed for repairs
  • Operate machinery during test runs and inspection to ensure proper functionality and performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to determine solutions to complex issues that impact production
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety regulations and cleaning protocols
  • May assist with the installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment or upgrades
  • Train new technicians and operators on the proper use and maintenance of machinery and equipment
  • Keep updated on industry trends and new technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years proven work experience as a Maintenance Technician.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Diploma or degree in mechanical or related field.
