About the Job

Our client is a leading healthcare provider in Kenya, committed to delivering high-quality medical services to the community. They are seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Manager Allied Health to oversee and coordinate the operations of their allied health departments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of all allied health departments, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and nutrition.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and staffing.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment for allied health professionals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of allied health services and implement improvements as needed.
  • Liaise with other hospital departments and external stakeholders to ensure integrated patient care.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Radiology, or another allied health discipline, or a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field with relevant experience in allied health services.
  • A master’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in healthcare management, including at least three (3) years in a leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare management principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant allied health field (e.g., Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Public Health Administration).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting.
  • Registered with the relevant professional body in Kenya.
