Entry Requirements:
An officer at this level shall report to Senior Deputy Chief Conservator of Forests (Strategy, Partnership & Resource Mobilization)
Duties and responsibilities;
- Develop, implement and review resource mobilization policies, strategies and programs
- Develop a frame work for stakeholders’ collaborations
- Review and analyze information and prepare reports and documents on activities related to funding partners and fund raising
- Develop agenda on resource mobilization and partnerships
- Prepare reports to donors and relevant agencies
- Participate in drafting and revision of agreements with donors
- Drive mapping of potential and emerging sources of funding and assessing their current usage and potential for the future
- Developing proposals for funding and corresponding contracts;
- Reviewing financial structures and risks of the PPP Projects;
- Monitoring the Implementation of funding programs and maintaining their impact;
- Developing policies on identification of lines of credit;
- Reviewing proposals from potential strategic partners;
- developing programs and proposals for resource mobilization;
- Reviewing pre -contract PPP activities;
- Responsible for resource mobilization for the Department
- Promote Public values and principles
- Mentoring and coaching
Additional Information:
Person Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Finance & Economics, International Development Studies, Business Administration/Management International management Entrepreneurship, Monitoring and Evaluation or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Master’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- At least ten (10) years’ work experience three (3) years of which must have been in a Supervisory position.
- Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
- Professional qualifications;
- Member of a relevant professional body
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Fulfil Chapter Six of the Constitution
