JOB DETAILS:

Role:

The Marketing Assistant executes the company's digital and Traditional marketing strategy across East Africa. The role drives social media presence, Canva-based design, video content creation, and SEO support to strengthen brand visibility and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality creatives using Canva (posts, brochures, presentations)
• Manage company social media platforms and publishing calendar
• Develop and edit short-form and long-form video content
• Support SEO implementation and website content optimization
• Monitor analytics and digital performance dashboards
• Support product launches and promotional campaigns
• Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms
• Coordinate with sales teams for market-relevant content

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media
• Portfolio showcasing Canva design work is required

Experience:

• 2-5 years in digital marketing or content creation
• Hands-on Canva expertise (brand kits, layouts, typography)
• Experience managing company social media accounts
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals and digital analytics

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12
