The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing activities that will build enduring brand value across our 35-store network in Kenya and drive commercial growth. Grounded in consumer insight and brand truth, this role requires a professional who balances strategic brand building with tactical retail execution ensuring every customer touchpoint reinforces our brand while driving foot traffic and sales.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Narrative Development

  • Craft and steward the core brand story, ensuring it is translated into a consistent and compelling narrative across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints—from in-store materials and visual merchandising to digital campaigns.
  • Maintain rigorous brand consistency across all 35 branches, adapting strategies to seasonal and market demands while preserving the brand’s core identity.

Integrated Marketing Campaign & Calendar Management

  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive, data-backed annual marketing calendar. This calendar will strategically balance long-term brand building initiatives with short-term, direct-response campaigns and community engagement, all aligned with key company goals (traffic, conversion, CAC, and ROI).

Local Market Activation & Branch Coordination

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that balance national brand consistency with branch-specific local targeting.
  • Proactively identify and capitalize on local events, community activities, and regional opportunities to drive brand reach, engagement, and store footfall.
  • Coordinate closely with branch managers to ensure all marketing initiatives are properly implemented and supported at the local level.

Performance Analysis & Market Intelligence

  • Analyze sales data, track campaign performance against KPIs (e.g., brand recall, engagement, conversion, ROI), and conduct regular market visits to assess competitor activities and consumer preferences.
  • Synthesize these data and insights to refine strategies, solve defined consumer problems, and report on the balance between brand-building and performance marketing effectiveness.

Brand Asset & Collateral Management

  • Oversee the inventory and distribution of standardized in-store branded collateral to ensure all locations are properly equipped to execute marketing and visual merchandising directives.
  • Craft and steward the core brand story, ensuring it is translated into a consistent and compelling narrative across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints—from in-store materials and visual merchandising to digital campaigns.
