Role Responsibilities
Market and Customer Insight
- Develop a deep understanding of customer segments, market trends, competitors, and buying behaviors through continuous research and digital monitoring.
- Use these insights to support the identification of growth opportunities in both new and existing market segments.
Strategic Marketing and Value Proposition
- Support the Business Development Executive in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that strengthen the company’s market positioning and unlock new business opportunities.
- Ensure the company’s value proposition is clearly articulated and consistently communicated across all channels, using both traditional and digital tools.
Brand Development and Communication
- Drive the execution of brand and communication strategies that enhance brand visibility, preference, and loyalty.
- Ensure that brand messages, tone, and presentation are aligned with corporate guidelines and adapted to the Kenyan market context.
- Manage social media and digital communication channels to build awareness and engagement.
Customer Experience and Loyalty Programs
- Support the design, implementation, and management of customer loyalty programs aimed at strengthening customer retention, value-per-customer, and brand advocacy.
- Analyze loyalty program data and customer engagement metrics to optimize program performance.
Retail Branding and In‑Store Visibility
- Lead the development and execution of effective shop and dealer branding initiatives, including in‑store displays, point‑of‑sale materials, and merchandising solutions.
- Ensure product visibility, message clarity, and brand consistency across all retail touchpoints to maximize conversion and customer engagement.
Marketing Campaigns and Content Creation
- Plan, develop, and execute targeted marketing campaigns to support sales objectives, product launches, and brand positioning.
- Produce and coordinate high‑quality marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, videos, digital content, and product sheets.
Events and Customer Engagement
- Coordinate and support the delivery of customer events, product launches, training sessions, and brand activations.
- Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and customer experience across all events.
Performance Tracking and Continuous Improvement
- Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, GTM, HootSuite, etc.) to monitor, measure, and report on campaign performance, digital activity, and customer engagement.
- Provide data‑driven recommendations to continuously improve marketing strategies, content, and channel effectiveness.
Qualifications or Requirements
The ideal candidate should hold a Degree in Marketing, Communications or Digital Marketing, coupled with 5 or more years’ experience, with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. A solid working knowledge of standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and CapCut is essential.
The role demands excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Experience in brand management and artwork design, along with the ability to meet deadlines and proactively advise on project progress or requirements, is critical.
