JOB DETAILS:
A Nairobi-based engineering company specializing in HVAC design, installation, and maintenance is urgently seeking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) for immediate placement.
Responsibilities or duties
- HVAC system design including Split Units, VRF/VRV systems, and ventilation solutions
- Ability to perform cooling load calculations and equipment sizing
- Preparation of HVAC drawings, layouts, and technical proposals
- Experience in commercial HVAC design for offices, retail spaces, and institutional buildings
- Supervision of technicians during installation, servicing, and commissioning works
- Site coordination with contractors, consultants, and clients
- Troubleshooting and supporting project execution activities
Qualifications or requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong technical problem-solving and project coordination skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Willingness to handle site work and technical documentation
Experience needed
At least 1 year practical HVAC/building services experience
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: associate degree
